What's cooking in the Kitschen? 1st September 2009

What a productive time!  I have been for the stitches removing from my face today. I haven't seen the end product yet as I have had more sticky strips put on to hold it together.  One of the doctors checked it and seemed happy with how things were coming along, so that's good enough for me. I can also manage a smile now! Yippee!! Still not allowed to wash my face though :( Baby wipes it is for another 5 days.

Anyway - look what I popped out of the mould today!  I created the mold myself from another vintage brooch. I have a couple of others to try yet, all of a nautical theme, which I hadn't realised! I just picked ones I liked!

Now... brooch? Pendant? Make another for huuuge anchor earrings (it's 6cm x 4cm)? I just dunno!

What do you think I should do with it?

xoxo

i think it looks ace, maybe a pendant but on a colored chain...like a red one (not sure if you can buy them for supplies, but im sure i've seen them on a necklace before)

I'm more of a brooch gal myself or maybe if it feels chunky / heavy a key ring! I can imagine this accessorizing a bag.

ps: what's with the less than usual blogging hmm?
Is it a boy? *giggles*

hi Rowan, just popped by to see how the makers fair went? another crafter I know was there 'myfirokesi' (that might be spelt wrong!).
how was it - would you recommend for next year?
I totally forgot to go, sorry, but have been dead busy, so probably couldn't have made it.
I did go this sunday with a pram and both kids - packed and gruelling and couldn't get to much. no kids next time!
ps hope the face is doing ok! bio-oil is good for scarring (if you have any, after they take off your steri's)
